Hello world! Yes, Angie and a Ginger live! 🙂 It is amazing how you can be so ahead and prepared and then you get so behind just as quickly if you are not careful. Needless to say, I wasn’t careful. I am sure that I could give excuses or explain, but they would just be that excuses right? The times are changing and I will be back to posting at least weekly if not more. To quote Gary Vee (Gary Vaynerchuk) it is all about the HUSTLE. and it is my time to shine and hustle. This is up to me. so without further delay….drum roll please…..
I am excited to announce that as of August 4th, 2016, I will be starting the Rouxbe professional plant-based online cooking school. This has been a dream of mine or on my bucket list for over a year, but I was not able to make it happen before now. Super stoked!!! There is still time for your to join me in the class – you can check it out at www.Rouxbe.com.
Why am I taking this class? Because, I believe I am a great cook. Ideas come to me, ratios come to me…a little of this and that…creations are made and eaten. But, I want to take my cooking and my creations to the next level and become an awesome cook. I want to broaden my horizons so to speak. Which means, you get to benefit from me taking this class because I will be talking about it. What I am learning and creating. My likes and dislikes. And no, I am not affiliated with Rouxbe. I do not receive any incentive or compensation from them, I just want to share my experience. And maybe my experience will inspire you to take this course or another course that they offer. Or to just start that one “thing” that you keep thinking about, that is on your heart, but that you have not taken the leap because of fear or your ego telling you that you are not good enough, that you will not succeed. I believe that if it is from God or One True Source, that gave you that passion or idea and it will not get out of your head, you think about it day and night, when you are awake, when you first get up, etc. then it is part of your bigger purpose. (Please note, I am not applying this logic to any thought or idea that hurts another living soul, whether human or animal, I do not believe that is from God or True Source. Life, human or animal, is one of the most sacred things, but that is for another day)
Take a stand, embrace the baby steps, the “failures” which really is just a delay, a learning experience, not defeat. It means that you had the courage to try. That you overcame any fear that was present. You embraced the challenge with open arms. You grew. Think of the experience as a recipe, sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get the right ratios or textures, the right consistencies. Heck, I am still trying to create a really really good recipe for biscuits, so the hubby (the Ginger) can have his biscuits and gravy – I have already attempted more times than I can count, but it is getting closer and each one has been a learning experience. And let me tell you, when I finally nail down that recipe they way I want, I will be rejoicing and sharing, lol. Embrace the adventure. Change your mindset. Find your “Hustle”. Fail, do again, Fail. and finally – SUCCEED!
Until next time,
may blessings abound,
