So excited. The Ginger and I have been working on getting everything ready for the upcoming festivals over the next few months. I am excited, but can not believe that it is almost time. In tonights video, I give you a quick dessert idea – a modified mason jar trifle and a healthy snack option to beat those afternoon doldrums or when you need a pick me up. Have a watch and leave a comment below:
For the Mason Jar Dessert, this rendition is a simple take on a larger dessert called a trifle.
*one package of pudding mix, follow per instructions and then equally separate into 4 mason jars or cups of choice. (usually it does have to set in the refrigerator for an 1.5, cover with plastic wrap to prevent any “skin” from forming)
*one cupcake of muffin, cut into bite size pieces
*about 3 spoonfuls of jelly or frosting of your choice
*one crushed cookie or half of another cut cupcake
*fruit of choice
layer your mason jar with the pudding, the cut cupcake, the jelly, the cookie and top with the fruit. Experiment and have fun with this cute little desserts.
*note – the pudding will last about a week once made, if not eating all the mason jars in one sitting, you can pre-make and cover (the layers will infusion slightly and the cake will definitely be softer) or leave the layers seperate and add right before enjoying
1/2 cup of raw almonds
1/4 of salted pistachios
1/4 of dried unsulfured fruitt
shake or stir to combine and enjoy
well guys, that is it for me tonight. Hope you have a fantastic day! Don’t forget to subscribe to stay in the know 🙂
Until next time, may blessings abound
